Platform Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern the use of the Knockout King Platform ("Platform") operated by Bubba Digital Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland.

1. Nature of the Service

The Platform enables approved clubs or organisations ("Hosts") to run football prediction competitions ("Competitions").
Competitions are skill-based and not games of chance.
The Platform does not act as a bookmaker or provide odds.

1.1 Payment Modes

The Platform supports two distinct payment modes:

Stripe Payment Mode: Entry fees are processed through Stripe Checkout. Hosts receive payouts via Stripe Connect Express accounts. The Platform facilitates secure payment processing.
Manual/External Payment Mode: The Platform serves solely as a game administration engine. No money is processed through the Platform. Hosts collect payments independently via bank transfer or other external methods. Bubba Digital Ltd has no involvement in payment collection, holding, or distribution for these competitions.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be aged 18 or older and UK residents.
Hosts must be legitimate community or sporting organisations approved by the Platform.

3. Entry and Fees

3.1 Stripe Payment Mode

Entry fees are processed through Stripe Checkout.
Funds are automatically split: platform fee → Bubba Digital Ltd; remainder → Host via Stripe Express.
The Platform never holds participant money on trust.

3.2 Manual/External Payment Mode

No payment processing occurs through the Platform.
Hosts collect entry fees directly from participants via bank transfer or other external methods.
Bubba Digital Ltd does not receive, hold, or process any participant funds.
The Platform provides only game administration tools (entry tracking, team selection, elimination processing).
All payment arrangements, collection, and prize distribution are the sole responsibility of the Host.

4. Competition Format

Each round, participants predict Premier League match outcomes. Incorrect predictions result in elimination. The final remaining entrant wins or shares the stated prize. No random elements are used.

5. Responsibilities

5.1 Platform Responsibilities

Provide game administration tools and hosting.
For Stripe payment mode: facilitate secure payment processing and authentication.
For manual/external payment mode: provide only the administrative engine; no payment processing.

5.2 Host Responsibilities

Publish clear competition rules and terms.
Verify all participants are aged 18 or over.
For manual/external payment mode: collect all entry fees, manage all funds, and pay prizes promptly by bank transfer to entrants aged 18 or over.
For Stripe payment mode: pay prizes promptly via Stripe Connect to entrants aged 18 or over.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Stripe Payment Mode: If a Competition is cancelled before it starts, entry fees are automatically refunded through Stripe.

Manual/External Payment Mode: Refunds are the sole responsibility of the Host. Bubba Digital Ltd has no involvement in refund processing.

Fixture or technical issues may result in rescheduling.

7. Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." Bubba Digital Ltd accepts no liability for Hosts' actions or payment failures. For manual/external payment mode competitions, Bubba Digital Ltd has no involvement in payment collection or distribution and accepts no liability for any payment-related matters.

Nothing limits liability for fraud or personal injury due to negligence.
